Sunday Times: Businesses Embrace The Bike

Bleeper's Private Schemes service was recently featured in The Sunday Times.

Bleeper is providing private fleets of shared bikes to multiple companies across Dublin, including eBay, Actavo, UCD Global, and Sonbrook. Representatives from those organisations were interviewed as part of the article, and here's a flavour of what they had to say about Bleeper's Private Schemes:

“I think there will be a commercial saving but the true benefit will be time. On an electric bike we’ll get into the city centre 15 minutes faster than we would in a taxi." - Paul Griffin, Commercial & Business Development Director at Actavo.

"I definitely see this as the way things are going," says Eoin O' Donoghue, Development Director at Sonbrook. "Talking to companies about taking office space, they're asking for showers and bike storage."

"It offers our staff an opportunity to try out cycling as a means of travel without the commitment of buying a bike," says Siobhan Curtin, Director of Operations at eBay.

Bleeper's My Private Scheme service offers standard, electric and cargo bikes, enabling the creation of private shared bike fleets in workplaces, residential complexes, business parks or even hotels.

The shared bikes are easily accessed by registered members via the Bleeper app - the same app used to access our public fleet.

With Bleeper also looking after the routine maintenance and repair of the private fleets, this is a hassle-free way for organisations to enable more cycling amongst employees.
