DCC eCargobike Pilot Scheme is Open to New Applicants

[This cargobike scheme is not currently accepting new applications but stay tuned for further updates. If your business is interested in buying or hiring a cargo bike from Bleeper, please check out our e-bike shop or our long-term hire service.]

Due to the success of the Dublin City Council eCargobike Pilot Scheme, we are continuing the scheme for the remainder of 2022. We are accepting more applications for the pilot, which allows businesses to trial an eCargobike for six months at a discounted rate of 100 euros a month.

ECargobikes are a safer, cleaner and quieter alternative to motor vehicles and are ideal for local area deliveries. One of the highlights of 2021 for Bleeper was working with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Dublin City Council and Fingal County Council on our pioneering eCargobike project, which we call #BleeperBox.

The BleeperBox is equipped with an electric motor which allows users to travel farther distances, carry heavier loads, and move with ease uphill. Local business owners who are partaking in the pilot scheme can attest to the benefits of eCargobikes:

With a combined 8,000 kilometres travelled across Dublin, carrying everything from pizza boxes to paddle-boarding gear, our eCargobikes are revolutionising urban mobility in Ireland.
