Bikeweek and Dublin Climate Action Week

With Bikeweek and Dublin Climate Action Week on the horizon, Bleeper is busy!

Bleeper is taking an active role in Bikeweek (12th-19th September) and Dublin Climate Action Week (13th-19th September) by participating in events and webinars, demonstrating our bikes, and offering free bike rides to Bleeper users. We've listed some of our highlights below, and we hope to see you at some stage during a busy week:

Pedalpalooza - Fairview Park, Dublin 3

Sunday 12th September 1pm-5pm

Pedalpalooza is a FREE cycling event for all ages and abilities hosted by Dublin City Council to mark the start of Bikeweek. A wide range of family-friendly outdoor events will be held in the park to get people moving and to promote a more sustainable urban mobility culture, such as children’s activities, upcycling and fashion activities, cycle tours, e-bike and cargo bike demonstrations, bike maintenance workshops, obstacle courses and pedal-powered workshops and much more!

Bleeper will be at Pedalpalooza demonstrating our Bleeper bikes and our BleeperBox e-cargobike. We hope to see you there!

Community Bike Ride - Baldoyle-Portmarnock Greenway

Wednesday 15th September 9.30am-12pm

Hosted by Fingal County Council, this free cycling event is open to all ages and abilities, and if you don't have your own bike you can avail of a Bleeper bike for free!

Active Travel in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown - Webinar

Thursday 16th September 10am-11am Register Online

As part of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown's Bikeweek programme, this webinar will review the initiatives which DLR has undertaken in the past 18 months to improve cycling and pedestrian infrastructure and to encourage the uptake of cycling and walking across the County.

Bikeweek and Dublin Climate Action Week

With more than 70 events planned, Dublin Climate Action Week presents a great opportunity to review and assess where Dublin stands on Climate Action. Bleeper is engaged in a number of projects with Dublin's local authorities and some of these projects will be highlighted at different events throughout the week.

Launch of Smart Mobility Hub Phase 2 - Webinar

The Smart Mobility Hub model has been championed by Dublin City Council since 2018 as part of Enterprise Ireland’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programme. Bleeper supplies a fleet of e-bikes for the Smart Mobility Hub and provides ongoing maintenance for the e-bikes.

This Phase 2 launch webinar will showcase our work to date, with discussion on emerging trends in shared mobility, practical considerations in setting up a Smart Mobility Hub, future plans for scale and how to get involved.
